I've done this before, but it's fun, so... Taken from spunkart and other sources. (Although spunkart deleted me from his friendslist, so he can suck on my sweaty ballsack).

Let me know if you have any of these, and I'll come up with a new one.

Name a CD you own that you think no-one else on your friendslist does:

Because it's interesting, I'm going to answer Passengers: Original Soundtracks 1, but since that came free with U2's Pop, there's a relatively good chance someone else has it.

EDIT: As I suspected, someone owns this one. So I'll try the Cocktail Hour boxed set. "Sophisticated Sounds For The 'In' Crowd."

Name a book you own that you think no-one else on your friendslist does:

Heck, I'll name two. The weird thing about these two is that I only just realised they are by the same author, and they are next to each other on the shelf! Famous Last Words by Jonathon Green and What A Way To Go by Peter Bowler & Jonathon Green.

The latter is a collection of interesting and sometimes amusing stories about how people died. It's one of those books where I'm pretty sure many of the stories are apocryphal (it doesn't exactly offer much in the way of a bibliography), but it's really entertaining. The former is just a long list of famous last words, duh.

EDIT: Both books, no good. The Reader's Digest Oxford Complete Wordfinder?

Name a movie you own on DVD/VHS/whatever that you think no-one else on your friendslist does:

Brain Donors. Although I hope I'm wrong about no-one else owning it, because I think it is one of the funniest, yet most obscure films ever. It is a tribute to the Marx brothers, a kind of remake of A Night at the Opera, with John Turturro as the Groucho-like character (he is, as always, brilliant), Mel Smith (alas) as the Chico-like character and Bob Nelson (a stand-up comedian) as the Harpo-like character (although he does talk).

Name a place that you have visited that you think no-one else on your friendslist has:

This is really hard, since most places I've been lukeii has. Ooh, I know. Purga, Queensland. A tiny town outside Ipswich. Aw, shit. I just remembered im_abstract_art is on my friendslist. Um... Bay of Islands, New Zealand?

Name a piece of technology or any sort of tool you own that you think no-one else on your friendslist has:

A hand-blown Venetian glass pen.

Oh, please don't be offended by it, or take it personally! I'm sure he doesn't mean to snub people. He has very few people on his friend's list - I think he only keeps people on the list that he sees quite regularly or knows very well, and so on. I'm sure I'm only on it because I'm his sister!

LOL.

I wasn't actually offended. I was just "being funny".
Trust me, I would never refer to my sweaty ballsack, except in jest.

Now that you mention it, I do see a family resemblance. And I do remember mention of a sister, I just never put the two together.

Passengers: Original Soundtracks 1

Oh, and I totally own this CD...

Yeah, I figured some U2-completist would.

I've been to Purga, fairly often too. It's on the road between Brisbane and Melbourne (well, from where I used to live it is.)

And there's a large motorcycle convention there every year too.

Really? I was fairly confident they were pretty obscure.
