Looking for a share house
I really like living in Richmond, but I probably ought to move out of this flat, for a couple of reasons.

1. The rent is pretty high, and being a one-bedroom flat I can't bring in another tenant to alleviate it.
2. I don't think it's all that healthy for me to be living alone, as seeing as I'm naturally introverted, I've become a bit of a shut-in.

So, I'm putting the word out, looking for shared accomodation. I am a non-smoker, but don't mind living with smokers as long as they do it exclusively outdoors. I also have an indoor cat, a nice couch, a shitty couch that I'll probably toss before moving, a relatively awesome DVD collection (all 20 Bond films, what more can you ask for?) and an ADSL connection that'll cost me $100 to move or $200 to cancel.

Anyway, let me know if you, or anyone else, is looking for a housemate.

It's funny, I'm looking for a place as well, for the exact same reasons, preferably with a cat, ADSL, and people I know, in the Richmond/Kew/Abbotsford area. I also have a fridge, a gamecube and nice couches.

Then again, it might be a bit weird, what with our inevitable overlap in our DVD collection and all...

I'm looking for somewhere with cheaper rent, so probably not in this area. Obviously a place split two or three ways is going to be cheaper than renting alone, but then the rent is going to be higher on a two or three bedroom place.

I should ask my brother what he's paying at his place.

$506 pcm - the house is $1518 pcm and I have the mid sized room, so I got the exact 1/3 even point. Ryan pays a bit less, Scott a bit more.

Well, it is a fair bit less than what I pay now.

Obviously a place split two or three ways

When I was looking with G, we discovered it was going to be better to have 3 or 4 people over 2. If you look based on price per room, 2 bedroom places are a lot more expensive than 3.

Good point.

Me!

I'll be moving out in the next two months and I don't know where I'll be going.
