Silly love songs
I've been playing around a lot lately with "Smart Playlists" in iTunes.
That is, you give iTunes a set of parameters and it automagically selects the songs in your library that fit those parameters.

Anyway, I made a playlist with the parameter Song name contains "love", because I thought it would produce an interesting and possibly amusing mix of songs.

And it did.

From the romantic:

'And I Love Her' by The Beatles
'Love Me Tender' by Elvis Presley

To the sexy:

'Lovers in the Backseat' by Scissor Sisters
'Love Gravy' by Rick James & Ike Turner

To the inspirational:

'All You Need is Love' by The Beatles
'One Love / People Get Ready' by Bob Marley & The Wailers

To the cynical:

'50 Ways to Leave Your Lover' by Paul Simon
'Love is the New Feel Awful' by The Dandy Warhols

To the sick:

'Medical Love Song' by Monty Python
'Used to Love Her' by Guns n' Roses

To the irrelevant:

'Rollover DJ' by JET

If their mothers make sun tea, I did insult their mothers.

But there are a lot of reasons why people get nasty in online forums. Much of it has to do with the fact that it is anonymous. It's cowardice at its finest to insult someone who has never met you and never will.

Well, assuming they're not the sort to do it in real life.

But you haven't been to /b/, have you? That is where the Anonymous Gods come together to act like arseholes.

I'm putting together one with all the religion themed words I can think of.

'Heaven Can Wait', 'Losing My Religion', 'Crying in the Chapel', 'Corpus Christi Carol', etc, etc.
