I am officially John Howard's enemy
The poll that I took part in has been published in today's Herald Sun, and I'm in the demographic that's making the headlines.

That said, the woman who polled me told me she was excited I had agreed to do the poll, because not many in my age group were willing to participate. So, I imagine the sample size is pretty small, and the results far from accurate. Not that you'd expect to see accurate info in the Herald Sun anyway.

Also, as I'm sure you've heard, Howard has finally set the date, and we can breathe easy in the knowledge that we never have to watch those bullshit Workchoices ads again. Now at least the bullshit ads will be funding from the Coalition's coffers instead of from your taxes.

You do realise that's Sydney Morning Herald (a Fairfax paper), and not Herald Sun...?

Well, that story might be, but the poll itself was published in the Herald Sun.

No I didn't know - thanks for the heads-up. Rudd isn't going to consign WorkChoices to a final death; he's going to keep quite a bit of it. Our unions will still be raped by him.

I thought bout your comment when the Australia v England Rugby game was on; I was in a room full of English people who were watching it online. It was a bit embarrasing when the game ended and they all laughed at me!

Oh, I know Rudd is only the lesser of two evils - which is why the Greens are my first preference. The conservative shift in the Labor Party saddens me greatly.

I don't think too many people expected England to go as far as they have. Luckily Australia's embarassment was tempered by the fact that the All Blacks went out as well. I'm cheering for the Springboks now.
