Another one bites the dust.
I love that these people that I don't know in real life drop me from their friends list when I write something they don't agree with, as if I give a shit.

I just got dumped by a humourless Christian, presumably for the last quiz I posted.

I don't feel like having a little cry in the corner when someone challenges me on my beliefs, though.

God gave you the ability to laugh at yourself. Fucking use it.

Oh well, her loss.
My wisdom is lost on fuckwits.

You know what, your icons are really creeping me out. Stop it.

You don't like the Muppets?
Xhanthilast_reprise on October 25th, 2003 04:32 pm (UTC)
When I was a kid yes, but now they're just creepy...
Jacobyak_boy on October 25th, 2003 04:43 pm (UTC)
Now they are funny, as ever they were.

The muppets particular brand of humour is not especially childish, aimed as much at adults as children. Even Sesame Street, which is aimed squarely at young children has a lot of humour in it that can be appreciated by adults. But, now it's been completely ruined by that horrible, high-pitched squealing, evil, red shit-monster!

You're weird, the Muppet movies are some of the funniest movies ever made.

Go to your local video store and rent:

The Muppet Movie
The Muppets Take Manhattan
A Muppet Christmas Carol
Muppet Treasure Island
Muppets From Space

These are truly funny movies.
And the commentary track on the Muppets From Space DVD (by Kermit, Gonzo and others) is pure gold.

Wait a sec, you're Goffique, so by "creepy" you mean "great".

I just want to say that im sorry for the last comment I posted. It was harsh and un-called-for. I am entitled to my opinion too though...
I have a feeling that you have accused the wrong person of posting the comment as you are still on my friends list. Sorry.
Jacobyak_boy on October 25th, 2003 10:35 pm (UTC)
I wasn't accusing the person that dropped me from their friends list of making the comment, I just made the connection between their professed Christianity and that quiz.

And thanks for the apology, I suppose.
But, I don't see why you feel the need for anonymity. My reply to your comment would have been tempered if I knew who you were. Getting complaints from anonymous people doesn't exactly warm the heart.

I can understand that but I feel the need to be anonymous for a couple of reasons.
1) because I am too gutless to own up to my own opinion.
2) beacuse what i wrote was not in fact MY opinion but a friends and I was so furious that they said that to me I just wrote it without thinking. It was meant to be sarcastic but I realise now that it totally didn't come across like that.
3) because I dont think that i am the sort of person you would expect a comment like that from.
I am sorry though... really.

It's okay.
I wasn't really offended.
I take any opportunity I can get to vent my spleen on the Roman Catholic Church.
And, yes, I am a Christian.
