The Lost Skeleton of Cadavra
Repetition makes it funny.

If you have seen Plan 9 From Outer Space, Robot Monster, The Fly (the original, not the remake), The Thing (the original, not the remake), The Blob (the original or the remake), or any other of the long list of old B-grade (or Z-grade) sci-fi/horror films, then you should go and see The Lost Skeleton of Cadavra.

"Betty, you know what this meteor could mean to science. It could mean actual advances in the field of science."

I don't know how to get across how funny this movie is.
The B-movie cliches, the silly and repetitive dialogue, the deliberately awful special effects, the aliens unable to understand Earth technology (like door-handles)...

After 90 minutes of constant laughing, my cheeks hurt.

There is one more screening at the Melbourne International Film Festival, next Friday, July 30 at 11:15 pm at the RMIT Capitol Theatre.
After that, who knows when you'll get a chance to see this comedic gem.
