Journal meme thingy
Yoinked from ephant

My journal is called "Yak Boy" because I wanted to make sure Googling for "Yak Boy" would bring people here (like anyone but me ever Googled for "Yak Boy").
My subtitle is "Philosophising, Ranting and Waffling" because that's how I'd categorise most of what goes on in my journal.
My friends page is called "And..." because every other title I had given it could be considered offensive by some of the people with journals on it.
My username is yak_boy because Yak Boy is a weird nickname I picked up in high school. It comes from a combination of my name Jacob, which in some European languages that have no "J" in their alphabet is pronounced "Yah-kob" or even "Yah-ko-po", and also that the guy who gave me the nick name was a big Ren & Stimpy fan.
My default userpic is Red Tentacle because I have been spoofing other people's default icons lately (cf lukeii's default icon).

And for your own journal:

My journal is called _________ because __________.
My subtitle is __________ because __________.
My friends page is called __________ because __________.
My username is __________ because __________.
My default userpic is __________ because __________.

I'd like to put it in mine, but my reasons for my names are just so simple and boring there is no point.

Bah, anything on the interweb is fair game.

I mean, I believe in protecting copyright (to a certain extent, technically most of my LJ icons violate copyright) but I'm not going to be too concerned about "stealing bandwidth".

If you want to protect your bandwidth there are ways of doing it, otherwise it's fair game.

Ha!
Oh, I see, there are ways to protect your bandwidth.
