If you don't mind my sayin', I can see you're out of aces
I forgot to report on my excellent Tuesday night adventure.

I went to Steve/Stan's place in Heidelberg to play poker with Cooroo, Duncan, Jason and, of course, Steve/Stan himself (none of whom have LJs AFAIK). The stake was $5 and, after going out early, Cooroo and Duncan both bought back in making the total prize pool $35, $5 of which was reserved for second place, the rest for the winner.

Cooroo went out again, this time with Jason in tow. Duncan was short-stacked, but managed to take down table leader Steve/Stan over a couple of clever/lucky all-in calls, making him the big stack for the heads-up showdown against yours truly. I eventually went all-in after the flop gave me 4 out of 5 for a flush, but I didn't make the flush and was beaten by a pair of aces (if I am remembering correctly).

All in all, a very enjoyable poker experience that left me none the poorer.

But the most exciting was yet to come. As I was driving home, going through Preston, I noticed a street sign for Chifley Drive. My life is truly blessed!
