Back To School
I got an early offer today from Victoria University. I've been accepted into the Bachelor of Arts (Professional Writing) course that a few of my TAFE colleagues went into when we finished the Diploma.

I'm still hoping to get (back) into Melbourne Uni, but this was kind of my minimum comfortable offer that I am certain I want to accept. So that means that I'm definitely going back to study next year.

Damn, if the Liberals had won the election I'd have had free public transport. Remind me again why I voted for the Greens and Labor ahead of the Liberals. :P

Do you know when you'll hear about your other preferences?

Though I think that you're drawing a fairly long bow to claim that the Liberals would actually have followed through with their promise of free transport for students...their promise of free public transport within the cbd morphed into the city circle tram once they'd won.

(I don't know whether it's "acceptable" for me to comment here as I'm not a journal junkie, but I guess that you'll have to just cope...or block me or something)

Thank you.

The first round offers are some time in January.

Are you suggesting that free public transport for students might have been a non-core promise? *gasp*
