Publication rights and friends-locking
In case anyone is concerned about such things, I'm not posting my poems as comments on that site, as is suggested in the challenge.

The guy talks about not being afraid of copyright infringement, whilst saying that you can re-publish your poems elsewhere if you like. This misses a vital point, which is the reason I post all my poetry under a friends-lock (and you thought it was because I was self-conscious about it): most publishers want right of first publication, and you remove a huge amount of the commercial desirability of your writing as soon as it hits the unfettered realms of the internet.

So, if you have even the slightest ambition of ever having your work published, it's a good idea you protect it in some small way from appearing in places where the ever-reaching tentacles of Google can get to it.
