Walking home last night, I walked into an orb weaver web, and the spider landed on my hand and bit me.
It stung like a bitch, and the rest of the way home I swore like a sailor with Tourette's.
Thanks to vaingloriesque and lukeii for their concern, but it really wasn't serious - so much so that there is absolutely zero pain and almost no mark left today.

I've joined the debating club, and so far it's been awesome. I've met lots of cool new people after just one meeting, and I'm really looking forward to arguing with people who actually enjoy being argued with.

I am woefully behind on my poetry challenge, but it's first week back, so you and I are just going to have to accept that I've got other shit on my mind.

We all came to the party late, since it's from last year some time:

Well so long as that's not because the rest of the hand has turned black, then all well and good.

Much sympathy from the Arachniphobe corner.

Although having a spider bite giving you a hand of vecna is kind of cool in its own right.
