My hair is short for the first time since I was fifteen.
And it feels good (apart from the back of my neck feeling very cold, but I can wear a scarf).
I was musing that when I was in primary school it was considered the height of coolness to have spiky hair. However, no-one had hair as spiky as mine is now. I guess eleven year olds don't have the resources to put "product" in their hair every day. Seriously, it cost $17 for a jar. It's good stuff though.
I will post some 'before and after' pictures when I can be bothered.
I took the 'before' pictures myself, the day before the hair came off.
I also shaved off my beard, but the combined effect made me look like I was literally fifteen again. Maybe when I'm middle-aged I'll wish I looked younger, but frankly, I appreciate the fact that bearded men never get asked for I.D. Anyway, I think this hairstyle goes well with facial hair.
In an unrelated matter, I'd like to take this opportunity to express my dislike for the so-called "quizzes" that give random results based on your name, or whatever. Back in my day, quiz results came from the full analysis of answers to a series of questions. Ahem.
